Jill lives in Colorado Springs, but grew up in Manitou and the westside. She's been going on the Peak since her hippie-runner parents first took her at the age of 8. Hurray for parents who take their kids to the mountains!
Jill runs and hikes on the Peak. Some of her favorite spots include Elk Park and the Devil's Playground. As a Colorado Springs Uitlities employee, she even works on the Peak.
Some of her favorite childhood memories of the peak include fighting with her sister over who got the comfortable hiking boots, and being able to drink from the streams with out worrying about giardia.
